Little Earth
Little Earth is a memory card game created for 6–8-year-olds to practice environmental sustainability. The goal is to create an interactive card game that promotes sustainability that they can engage with.
The why: Sustainability has always been a major issue. I want to educate the future generation as they will be tomorrow’s leaders and decision-makers. Early education on sustainability can create values that influence how they approach environmental challenges in the future.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
This project focuses on educating young children from 6–8-year-olds about environmental sustainability through game-based learning. The goal is to create an interactive card game that promotes sustainability that they can engage with. Due to many research conducted, it is shown that memory card games are the most successful to help improve, entertain, and educate young children. Therefore, this project is about creating and designing an interactive memory card game about environmental sustainability.
The problem that I want to solve is too big and out of my control. However, what I expect kids to do after playing my game is to apply these features into their daily life’s. For example, after playing my game, kids start to notice and be aware of sustainability practices such as putting their rubbish in the right bin. Going home and helping their parents garden by watering the plants or seeing bottles on the ground and picking it up and recycling them. One of my goals from the beginning of this project was to help kids understand the importance of sustainability and how doing these small actions can have big impacts on the world.
